Rafael Correa honors Liberator Simón Bolívar and Commander Hugo Chávez in Caracas

The former president of the Republic of Ecuador, Rafael Correa, in the company of the Foreign Minister of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Jorge Arreaza, and María Gabriela Chávez, daughter of Commander Hugo Chávez, visited the National Pantheon, located in Caracas, on Tuesday. where the mortal remains of the Liberator Simón Bolívar rest.

As part of his agenda in Venezuela, where he participated as a special international guest in the parliamentary elections on Sunday, December 6, the Ecuadorian leader also visited the Cuartel de la Montaña 4F, in the 23 de enero sector in the capital city, to honor the maximum leader of the Bolivarian Revolution, Commander Hugo Chávez.

Correa has been in the South American nation since last Saturday, forming part of the more than 200 international observers who accompanied the Venezuelan electoral process to renew the National Assembly. During his stay he has participated in different activities, such as the conference organized by the Samuel Robinson Institute for Original Thought, entitled Dialogue between civilizations, held this Monday in Caracas.

Relations between Venezuela and Ecuador reached a high level of fraternity and cooperation, precisely when Rafael Correa and Commander Chávez coincided in the presidencies of these countries, with solidarity between the peoples and bilateral exchange based on mutual respect as the starting points.
