The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, on behalf of the Venezuelan People and Government is pleased to greet the noble Chinese People and Government, in the celebration of the Birth of Mao Zedong, the Great Helmsman.
Mao Zedong, a revolutionary and teacher, strategist and theoretician, founder of the Chinese Communist Party, the Chinese People’s Liberation Army and the People’s Republic of China, leader of the Chinese people in countless victories and great feats, whose legacy flourishes today, updated in the development of socialism with Chinese particularities, remaining in force and vital in the present and bright future of China.
Venezuela ratifies the vital and sincere sentiments of friendship and cooperation that unite both nations, along with the commitment to continue strengthening and raising to new levels the “Integral Strategic Alliance” China-Venezuela, so successful for both countries.
Likewise, it reiterates its deep gratitude for the support given in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic, exalting the solidarity and humanist qualities that have characterized the People’s Republic of China since its foundation.
The Venezuelan People and Government, ratify their commitment to continue working hand in hand with the People and Government of the People’s Republic of China in the struggle for a multi-centered and multi-polar world, in defense of multilateralism, cooperation and peace.
