A historic leader of the independence of the Zambian people and Southern Africa, Kenneth Kaunda dedicated his life to the struggle against racial segregation and colonial oppression, while defending and offering his continuous contribution to the construction and consolidation of Pan-Africanism, leaving a legacy of unparalleled commitment to the political and economic emancipation of the Peoples of the South of the African continent that will be forever recognized.
The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela extends its condolences to the family, loved ones and the brotherly Zambian people, with the certainty that the legacy of Kenneth Kaunda will live on in the memory of the Peoples of Mother Africa, whose new generations will know to have him as a guide in the preservation of independence and the construction of a more just and peaceful world.
