President Nicolás Maduro Moros, on behalf of the People and Government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, congratulates President Aleksandr Lukashenko and all the Belarusian people, on the installation in the city of Minsk of the 6th Edition of the «All Belarusian People’s Assembly», during February 11th and 12th, an activity in which issues of national interest will be discussed.
Venezuela accompanies the democratic exercise expressed in this Popular Forum, where the Belarusian people are recognized as the only source of state power, with direct participation in the discussion of the actions of the State and all national public life.
Today, both nations share the challenge of overcoming destabilization plans and foreing interference, in the face of the most dramatic and cruel attacks of International Imperialism, testing day by day the courage of our peoples who have decided in the midst the of resistance to be free from all foreing domination.
The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela reiterates its firm support to the sisterly nation of Belarus, with the conviction that the ties of friendship and bilateral cooperation will continue to be strengthen, to contribute in the post-pandemic socioeconomic recovery and to promote the principles of sovereignty, solidarity and independence.
