Venezuela condemns the assassination of the Iranian scientist Mohsen Fajrizade in a terrorist attempt

The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela firmly condemns the assassination of the eminent Iranian scientist Dr. Mohsen Mohsen Fajrizade, President of the Defense Research and Innovation Organization of the Islamic Republic of Iran, who was killed in a abominable terrorist attack near the city of Teheran. Venezuela sends to the Iranian People and Government its most heartfelt words of condolences in view of such cowardly act. The Government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela reaffirms its strong rejection against any terrorist act, no matter where it comes from. Savagery and terror cannot be imposed in international relations. Venezuela calls upon all member countries of the United Nations to respect by all possible means the letter of its founding Charter, the principles of International Law, and international security and peace.
