The Sector Vice-president of the Economic Area and People’s Power Minister for Petroleum, Tareck El Aissami, participates in the 14th OPEC and Non-OPEC (OPEC+) Ministerial Meeting, a virtuous mechanism promoted by Venezuela that has allowed the stability of the world energy market to overcome the situation caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.

“We are prepared to participate in the fourteenth OPEC+ Ministerial Meeting, a summit of ministers from OPEC and Non-OPEC countries”, said El Aissami in a video released this Thursday on his account @tareckpsuv on the social network Instagram.

In the message, he highlighted that the OPEC+ mechanism:

Long live OPEC+. Thank you very much.”

The Secretary General of OPEC, Mohammad Barkindo, together with the president of RMONO-OPEC+, Abdul Aziz Bin Salmán Al Saud, Minister of Energy, Industries and Mineral Resources of Saudi Arabia, opened the 14th Ministerial Meeting that has been held from Vienna Austria, via videoconference.
