On Tuesday, December 22, as part of the permanent airlift with the People’s Republic of China, the ninth shipment with medical supplies and equipment arrived in Venezuela to strengthen the measures adopted by the Bolivarian Government to fight the COVID-19 pandemic.
The shipment was received by Executive Vice-president Delcy Rodríguez, who highlighted that thanks to the support provided by China, the Venezuelan Government has been able to face the pandemic.
With this ninth delivery of supplies, including PCR test kits, facemasks, disposable gowns and medicines, the Venezuelan Government will continue to guarantee the provision of medical supplies in the country’s health centers receiving COVID-19 patients.
Noteworthily, Venezuela has received so far more than 274 tons of medicines and medical supplies and equipment, including this shipment, from China.
