Venezuelans from Chile are grateful for medical and health care on the flight of the Plan Vuelta a la Patria

At dawn this Wednesday, a flight from the Plan Vuelta a la Patria arrived from the Republic of Chile with 225 Venezuelans who requested their return at the Venezuelan Embassy in that country.

Among the nationals are people who had been stranded at the beginning of their quarantine due to the sanitary contingency measures decreed at national and international airports; and others who were in conditions of urgency and vulnerability for a long time.

Upon arrival at the Simón Bolívar International Airport in Maiquetía, the 225 compatriots received the pertinent medical-health care to diagnose possible cases of COVID-19, and all the prevention protocols were followed to avoid the spread of the virus, including the application of diagnostic tests.

The young Antony Hernández thanked the attention provided by the Conviasa team and the logistics staff for the biosafety and health control protocols implemented upon arrival in the country.

For his part, Mr. Henry Ramírez stated that he had planned to return to Venezuela at the beginning of the year, but everything was delayed by COVID-19.

“I was in Chile for two and a half years, and I really wanted to return to my homeland; I left my country for family reasons, my wife and children were here, but well, I really recommend that those who want to return to go to the Embassy, I was treated very well and the attention was outstanding”, he said.

Since its creation, the Plan Vuelta a la Patria has returned 21,604 Venezuelans from countries such as Brazil, Ecuador, Peru, Argentina, Panama, Mexico, Colombia, the Dominican Republic, Cuba, Italy and Spain, among others; making it the most far-reaching humanitarian bridge in history.
