On the 34th anniversary of the Venezuela-Angola diplomatic relations, Minister of People’s Power for Foreign Affairs, Jorge Arreaza, held a cordial phone conversation with Téte António, Angola’s minister of Foreign Affairs, in order to strengthen bilateral cooperation.
The Venezuelan foreign minister wrote on his Twitter account @jaarreaza abut the two governments’ common interest in stepping up their productive exchange.
The two diplomats also expressed their common interest in strengthening political, diplomatic and economic cooperation relations in a post-pandemic scenario.
In the context of their bilateral relation, Venezuela endorsed on July 22, 2017, a memorandum of understanding with Angolan state-owned diamond mining company Endiama to provide technical training to Venezuelan miners and optimize commercialization processes of different diamonds.
