President Maduro meets with observers of the Democratic Revolutionary Party of Panama

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, holds a meeting this Monday with representatives of the delegation of the Democratic Revolutionary Party (PRD) of Panama, after the parliamentary elections that granted 67.6% of the votes to the Great Patriotic Pole Simón Bolívar (GPPSB).

In the meeting that takes place in the Miraflores Palace, the General Secretary, Pedro Miguel González; the Secretary of International Relations, Héctor Alemán; the Secretary for Community Affairs, Dionicio Méndez and the Secretary for Relations with Social Organizations, Federico Tuñón Wong were present.

Likewise, the member of the International Relations Commission, José Castillo, as well as the Secretary General of the National Assembly of Panama, Quibián Panay and the deputy to the Central American Parliament, Sandra Noriega, intervenes.

The exchange takes place at the end of the elections to the National Assembly (AN), which had the participation of 5 million 264 thousand 104 Venezuelans, which translates into 31% of the electoral roll.

According to the first bulletin of the National Electoral Council (CNE), with 82.35% of the tally sheets, the GPP won 3 million 558 thousand 320 votes (67.6%), while the Democratic Alliance added 944 thousand 665 ( 17.95%)

Meanwhile, the United Venezuela Alliance totaled 220 thousand 502 votes (4.19%) and the Communist Party of Venezuela (PCV) obtained 143 thousand 917 (2.73%). Other parties won 357,609 votes (6.79%).

The parliamentary elections would determine 277 seats in the National Parliament from the participation of 14,400 candidates dependent on 107 organizations with national and regional political purposes and representatives of indigenous communities.
