Venezuela and China establish strategies in tourism and post-Covid-19 trade
With the aim of continuing to advance in the strategies for tourism and post-pandemic trade, the People’s Power Minister for Tourism and Foreign Trade, Félix Plasencia, held a meeting with the ambassador of the People’s Republic of China in Venezuela, Li Baorong with the aim of highlighting the joint efforts and cooperation between the two nations to confront and overcome this outbreak.
This meeting was held at the Mitcoex headquarters located in Caracas, with the purpose of adopting the measures implemented by the Asian country, following the premises established through its experience in tourism and domestic trade in the country, complying with the necessary protocols before the fight against Covid-19.
Such actions are established in the spirit of solidarity and complementarity between the government of President Xi Jinping and President Nicolás Maduro, who have elevated diplomatic relations and respect between the two brother countries to the highest level.
Attention against the Covid-19
This Tuesday, Venezuela received the fifth aircraft loaded with more than 46 tons of medical supplies and equipment destined for the prevention and control of Covid-19 by the People’s Republic of China, a cargo that rises to more than 157 tons of medicines and surgical medical material as part of the air bridge established between both nations.
It is important to highlight that the Xi Jinping government has made public its respect for the Venezuelan homeland, in the face of strong coercive and fascist measures imposed by the White House against the South American nation which have prevented Venezuela from acquire, freely and sovereignly, medical supplies abroad to face the Covid-19 and protect the health of the people.
Strategic alliances between sister governments
Venezuela and China maintain excellent alliances, achieving more than 700 joint projects in different areas of the economy in the last 20 years, thanks to the world geostrategic vision maintained by the Eternal Commander, Hugo Chávez.
Therefore, giving continuity to the leader of the Revolution, the Head of Sstate, Nicolás Maduro, has made more than 10 visits to the Asian nation as an expression of the importance and respect that joint relations have between the two nations.
