Cooperation between the Pan American Health Organization and hospitals in Venezuela takes concrete steps
The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, thanked the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) on Thursday for turning the health support in Venezuela into concrete facts.
“I thank the Pan American Health Organization, the World Health Organization (WHO), because they has turned the humanitarian aid, humanitarian support, health support in Venezuela, into concrete facts, as well as UNICEF (the United Nations Children’s Fund)”.
Cooperation between the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) and public hospitals in Venezuela takes concrete steps, stressed the Vice-minister of Hospitals of the People’s Power Ministry for Health, Armando Marín.
In a satellite contact made by the Venezuelan head of state, Nicolás Maduro, Marín explained that the hospital safety index has been finalized at the level of all hospitals in Venezuela.
This Thursday, a symbolic delivery was made at the University Hospital of Caracas of an crash cart, and other equipment used for the provision of other hospitals in the Caracas metropolitan area.
The crash cart is an instrument used for the attention of the patients and is constituted by the component to take and measure the vital signs of the patient (monitoring); electro equipment that allows to assess the patient’s heart conditions, among other equipment.
On the other hand, the director of the medical center, Earle Siso, indicated that through the PAHO and the Ministry of Health the endowment of implements was achieved and thus make the care more effective.
