Venezuela suffers new aggression and denounces illegal detention of food carrier ship due to US blockade

Venezuela denounced the retention of a ship in the Panama Canal loaded with 25 thousand tons of soy cake for food production in the national territory, a fact sponsored by the criminal blockade imposed by the United States government. This new aggression that violates the fundamental right to food of the Venezuelan people was denounced by the Executive Vice-president of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, through her account on the social network Twitter, @DrodriguezVen. Rodriguez said that the person in charge of handling the boat “was informed by the insurance company that it was forbidden to bring that cargo into Venezuela due to the illegal sanctions! This act constitutes a very serious violation of International Law and the UN Charter”.

The high official urged the Organization of the United Nations (UN), to stop this type of aggressions against Venezuela, which are headed by US President Donald Trump, and requested by the spokesmen of the extreme right of the National Assembly, in contempt led by Juan Guaidó. “The ruffian @ jguaido and his criminal gang, an accomplice of the US, will respond to history for violating our sovereignty and the integrity of our people! Venezuela will continue to decide its destiny and in a national productive union it will guarantee its development and prosperity!”, Said the Vice-president.
