President Maduro holds bilateral meeting with representatives of the Islamic Republic of Iran

The Head of State and Government, Nicolás Maduro Moros, meets this afternoon with the Minister of Defense and Logistics of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Amir Hatami, the meeting takes place at the headquarters of the Foreign Ministry Venezuelan, in the city of Caracas. The objective of the meeting is to strengthen bilateral relations and cooperation between the two nations, which have signed various agreements on energy, economic and industrial in the recent years. It is expected that during the meeting, topics will be discussed for the benefit of the security and defense of the nation to safeguard the sovereignty of both countries. Venezuela and Iran share the same vision in international relations and the consolidation of the new multicentre and pluripolar world for the peoples’ demands.
